North Atlantic right whales live in a more urban ocean than probably any other population of whales in the world. Learn about threats these whales face, including entanglements in fishing gear and collisions with ships, and the technologies researchers are developing to protect this species. Dr. Ester Quintana, research scientist at the Anderson Cabot Center for Ocean Life at the New England Aquarium, will talk about the right whale population and their complex relationship with humans.
